Informations sur l’outil
Qu'est-ce que Firebase Studio ?
Firebase Studio is an entirely web-based workspace that accelerates the full-stack application development lifecycle using generative AI from Gemini, AI agents, repository imports, app previews via cloud emulators, collaboration features, and deployment options to Firebase services. It enables developers to build backends, front ends, and mobile apps all in one place, going from browser to building in minutes. Note that the product is being sunset on March 22, 2027, after which new workspaces can no longer be created, with users directed to move code to Google AI Studio or Google Antigravity.
Fonctionnalités principales
Gemini in Firebase AI assistance
Work with AI to complete tasks such as coding, debugging, testing, refactoring, explaining, and documenting code; the AI interacts with the codebase and can take actions on the user's behalf, with option to use the built-in model or select a preferred model.
App Prototyping agent
Quickly create a new application using natural language, mockups, drawing tools, and screenshots, or select from a large catalog of popular framework or language templates.
Repository import and quick start
Import existing repositories from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or a local machine with support for most tech stacks; customize the environment with Nix and go from browser to building in minutes.
Collaboration and sharing
Provide a URL for early testers to preview the app and give feedback; share workspaces with team members so multiple people can contribute to the same project simultaneously, including non-coders.
Full-fidelity app previews and testing
Use built-in web previews and Android emulators powered by cloud emulators; access thousands of extensions in the Open VSX Registry to test and optimize API endpoints and backends.
Deployment and monitoring
Publish apps to Firebase App Hosting with a few clicks and monitor usage and behavior; deploy production apps to Firebase Hosting, Cloud Run, or custom infrastructure with full control over the deployment approach.
