kiro
PaidAgentic engineering tool that turns developer prompts into executable specs
Informações da ferramenta
O que é kiro?
Kiro is an agentic engineering tool that helps developers and teams turn prompts into executable specifications, validate code correctness to find bugs that unit tests miss, and build across large codebases with parallel agents that learn from every session. Built and operated by AWS, it moves beyond traditional AI coding to full agentic engineering workflows.
Recursos principais
Spec-driven development
Turns prompts into requirements, architectural designs, and sequenced tasks, then implements them with parallel agents. Property-based tests catch edge cases that pass unit tests but break in production so teams ship maintainable code that matches the specification.
Correctness validation with automated reasoning and property-based tests
Before writing code, checks requirements for contradictions and gaps using automated reasoning techniques. Then validates behavior with property-based tests that assert rules across all inputs rather than a few examples.
Parallel agents from plan to PR
Plan with specs, implement with parallel agents on a local machine or in the cloud, catch bugs with property-based tests, pull context from tools such as Figma or Terraform, and run the headless CLI in CI/CD to review PRs and fix bugs without opening an editor.
Multi-model support
Select Anthropic Claude, open-weight models, or Auto, which chooses the best model for the task based on complexity, quality, latency, and cost. ChatGPT models are also available.
Open standards compatibility
The agent is compatible with Agent Client Protocol (ACP) and supports AGENTS.md, Skills.md, and MCP. The IDE supports Open VSX extensions, themes, and VS Code settings. The CLI works with bash, zsh, fish, and over 500 popular CLIs.
Enterprise-ready controls
Built and operated by AWS with the same security, reliability, and privacy standards. Offers IAM and SSO authentication, usage dashboards, cost management controls, IP indemnity, governance, and administration controls.
Multi-platform access
Available as CLI, IDE, Web, and Mobile interfaces.
Casos de uso
- #1
Spec-driven software development
Convert prompts and ideas into structured requirements, architectural designs, and sequenced tasks that agents implement as maintainable code matching the specification.
- #2
Catching bugs missed by unit tests
Use automated reasoning on requirements and property-based testing to surface contradictions, gaps, and edge-case failures that example-based unit tests miss.
- #3
Building across large codebases
Coordinate parallel agents that learn from every session to implement changes across large existing codebases.
- #4
CI/CD PR review and automated bug fixing
Run the headless CLI inside CI/CD pipelines to review pull requests and fix bugs without opening an editor.
- #5
Context-aware development with external tools
Pull design and infrastructure context from tools such as Figma or Terraform during planning and implementation.
Planos de preços
Credit-based pricing model with no daily or weekly rate limits and pre-paid overages.
